A big one. Since 1.2.3 Aura has gained on-demand history loading, a completely rebuilt look, and a lot of quiet reliability work.
📖 Browse Your Full History
Page back through your WHOOP history right from the menu bar. When you reach the edge of what’s loaded, Aura fetches older data on demand, bridging gaps between previously synced periods and extending further back. Navigating no longer snaps across missing weeks.
🎨 A Refreshed Look
Aura’s visual identity has been rebuilt from the ground up: new typography for labels and metrics, a sharper color palette across Recovery, Strain and Sleep, and crisp icons throughout the app and widgets.
🔄 Live Sync Status
The refresh control now spins and reports what it’s doing. “Syncing…” or “Loading older data…” so you always know when Aura is fetching, including on-demand history loads that used to happen silently.
📅 Complete Daily Coverage
Sleep and workouts now cover the same date range as Recovery and Strain. Previously a recent day could show recovery and strain but a blank sleep ring; every navigable day is now complete.
🛠️ Fixes & Reliability
- Fixed missing days in the timeline, where a nap followed by a late primary sleep could cause a cycle to collide or disappear entirely.
- Fixed recent days showing a 0% sleep ring despite sleep having been recorded.
- “Load older data” no longer stalls or stops short.
- A failure fetching one metric no longer discards the others, and a failed refresh no longer locks you out of retrying.
- Workouts and cycles no longer keep outdated strain and heart-rate values when a score is removed upstream.
- Sign-in failures now show a message instead of failing silently, and cancelling the sign-in sheet no longer shows an error.
